Belut ini merupakan hasil tangkapan tuan punya video tersebut. Belut eletrik ini telah memakan umpan pancing beliau. Tiba-tiba datang buaya menerkam belut tersebut. Mungkin buaya tersebut fikir rezeki di depan mata 
Tapi buaya tersebut silap. Yang dia terkam adalah belut eletrik. Tak pasal-pasal buaya tersebut kena renjatan eletrik. Mengikut tuan punya video, buaya tersebut yang mati…belut tersebut tidak mati. Malah tuan punya pancing dengan baik hati telah melepaskan belut tersebut (Yang sebenarnya takut kena karan).

Despite their serpentine appearance, electric eels are not actually eels. Their scientific classification is closer to carp and catfish.
These famous freshwater predators get their name from the enormous electrical charge they can generate to stun prey and dissuade predators. Their bodies contain electric organs with about 6,000 specialized cells called electrocytes that store power like tiny batteries. When threatened or attacking prey, these cells will discharge simultaneously, emitting a burst of at least 600 volts, five times the power of a standard U.S. wall socket.
They live in the murky streams and ponds of the Amazon and Orinoco basins of South America, feeding mainly on fish, but also amphibians and even birds and small mammals. As air-breathers, they must come to the surface frequently. They also have poor eyesight, but can emit a low-level charge, less than 10 volts, which they use like radar to navigate and locate prey.
Electric eels can reach huge proportions, exceeding 8 feet (2.5 meters) in length and 44 pounds (20 kilograms) in weight. They have long, cylindrical bodies and flattened heads and are generally dark green or grayish on top with yellowish coloring underneath.
Human deaths from electric eels are extremely rare. However, multiple shocks can cause respiratory or heart failure, and people have been known to drown in shallow water after a stunning jolt.
Electric eels are extremely common throughout their range.
Belut eletrik ini merupakan bukti betapa hebatnya ciptaan Allah Yang Maha Pencipta. Belut eletrik pernah direkodkan dapat menumbangkan seekor kuda dewasa. Kuda dewasa tersebut jatuh tersungkur apabila terkena renjatan elektrik daripada belut ini.
Belut ini juga boleh menjana kuasa elektrik sekurang-kurangnya 600 volts, yakni 5 kali ganda kuasa eletrik pada soket-soket di dinding rumah penduduk USA.
Habitat belut ini ialah di Sungai Amazon dan juga di Orinoco Basins di Amerika Selatan.
Masya-Allah. Hebatnya ciptaan Allah, melalui belut yang sebesar ini, dapat menyimpan tenaga yang sebegitu banyak tanpa mencederakan dirinya.

The picture was made with the Canon 5D Mark II and a 400mm-lens. It consists of 1.665 full format pictures with 21.4 megapixel, which was recorded by a photo-robot in 172 minutes. The converting of 102 GB raw data by a computer with a main memory cache of 48 GB and 16 processors took 94 hours. With a resolution of 297500 x 87500 pixel (26 Gigapixel) the picture is the largest in the world. (stand December 2009)
